Jute Bags

Jute Bags

Jute is the material that makes up hessian cloth. In recent years, however, this strong and sturdy material has been used to create durable and attractive items such as our jute shopping bags and, as a result, its popularity has skyrocketed. Jute bags are often tightly woven and firmly sewn to reinforce their structure and allow them to be free standing, and most regularly have a strong rectangular base. The burlap bag was traditionally used to carry and store potatoes, cereals and sugar. Today, jute is being used in a more creative way, ideally suited to a variety of uses, ranging from: multipurpose bags,  etc.

Jute bags are strong. The durability of the fiber, coupled with the stiffness of the production of the bags means they are capable of carrying heavy loads and items that come in various different shapes and sizes.

Jute material is a natural vegetable fibre which is made from the outer stem and skin of a jute plant. Jute is an incredibly versatile material which also makes up hessian cloth, however, it is most commonly used now for making durable items such as eco-friendly jute bags.
